CBI Seeks Arvind Kejriwal's Custody: Live Updates From Hearing

Chaudhari: You have filed four chargesheets. You are saying you've to do something by July 3. None of the reasons would qualify for arrest.

Chaudhari now refers to various judgments.

Chaudhari: He may influence the witnesses... You have some divine information that I may influence witnesses. SC granted me bail. This influence the witnesses cannot have surfaced. Which witness will I try to influence ? Nothing. It's only mechanical chanting.

Chaudhari: He says I am concealing facts. But what are those facts?

He just started that he wanted to examine me as an accused now. If I am an accused and it's a CBI case, there is nothing like section 50 PMLA. Did he give me that warning that Mr. Kejriwal whatever you're stating may be used against you. These are essential safeguards. Did you do that?

Chaudhari: You were silent from April. I was in custody until I was granted bail. So I don't need you until you get bail. I only need you when you get bail.

If this man was really guilty, why you didn't arrest me when you had material? The timing shows the timing of arrest is illegal. 

Chaudhari: I have been granted bail. The vacation court granted me bail on June 20.

When did you make me an accused? From 160 crpc to accused. What has changed? Nothing mentioned. It's the epsi dixit of the officer. 

Chaudhari: 23 April they get to investigate my role. But to claim my remand, it's all prior thereto. Including those January statements. Any kind of jugglery of words, in every chargesheet, my name was also cropping in but they chose to maintain silence.

Chaudhari: This is a classic case of abuse of power. If ever Arnesh and Antil is to be applied in its spirits, it is this case.

Chaudhari: It's a totally vague application.

They are now on money trail because they are copy pasting from somebody else's investigation and remand papers.

Chaudhari: In this case also his son turned an approver in March.

The material, when did it surface, nothing on that. Another fact about Magunta Reddy. Mr. Reddy now joins the alliance of present ruling party on 29 February. And all sins have been washed off. I am also on credibility on which I'll come later.
