CBI Seeks Arvind Kejriwal's Custody: Live Updates From Hearing

#BREAKING Delhi Court remands Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to CBI custody for three days in the liquor policy case.

CBI had sought five days of custody for Kejriwal.

Vacation judge Amitabh Rawat of Rouse Avenue Courts remanded Kejriwal to CBI custody for three days.

The court has directed that Kejriwal will now be produced in court on June 29.

CBI counsel: We are not the sources. It shouldn't come like that.

Court: Aap itni jaldi sources kaise banaenge. 

Court: Media picks up one line. It is very difficult to control media that way.

Kejriwal to Court: They are sensationalizing the issue. It needs to be clarified. Ye top headline hongi saare newspapers ki. Inka maqsad hi sensationalize karne ka hain.

Court: He only says that it was not my idea.

Kejriwal: Idea inka ye hain ki front page pe ye headline ho ki Kejriwal ne apna thikra Manish Sisodia ke sar par foda. 

Court: The difficulty is what media covers is taken in pieces.

CBI counsel: It's not sources. I argued in court. No source said anything. And I argued on facts. 

Arvind Kejriwal addresses court: CBI sources se media me chalwaya ja raha hain ki maine ek bayaan diya hain ki maine apna sara dosh Manish Sisodia iske doshi hain. Maine Aisa koi bayaan nahi diya hain ki Manish Sisodia doshi hain ya saari cheez ka koi doshi hain. Maine kahan tha Manish Sisodia nirdosh hain, AAP nirdosh hain, mai nirdosh hu. Inka saara plan hume media me badnaam karne ka hain. Isko record Kiya jaaye ki CBI sources se ye sab media me na chalwaya jaaye.

Chaudhari: I me myself attitude of CBI is what exactly I am pointing out. He thinks he is above everything else. He decides. Why his custody is required, I am not telling why. I don't want to tell him. I want to keep it in sealed cover. This notion has to go.

Chaudhari: Volume of their voice cannot validate their argument.
