NTA: whether the same instruments were used has to be ascertained from the FSL Report

CJI: perhaps the FSL report will tell whether they were sent only to Patna or did it go somewhere else also.

NTA: if the WhatsApp chats are not deleted we will know where else it was gone 

CJI: what happened to the statements given to EOU in Bihar saying that the leak was on the night May 4, there seems to be an improvement in their subsequent statements where they say leak happened in morning hours of May 5

CJI: the leak from Hazaribagh to Patna was through one of the pictures clicked and scanned and sent, has that mobile been seized?

NTA: No mylord they have destroyed some of the gadgets and yesterday we received some of them, now we to examine them forensically whether these set of mobiles recovered were from the same gang

SG: they do not want to be exposed, they go to the people one-on-one, they fall into the trap, they give post-dated cheques and some amount of advance. We have recovered the post-dated cheques also. Post-dated cheques now cannot be encashed

CJI: there is no evidence to indicate that this happened widespread?

NTA: no mylord, what we found is that there are 2 locations in Hazaribagh where this was shared after solving and one location in Patna. Within Patna they had a group had a subgroup of 6 female candidates on 4th itself so they didn't want to keep the boys and girls under the same roof, so they kept the 6 girls in the house of an accused

CJI: once they hatched the conspiracy 2-3 months back, how did they confine it to such a small group of people? Human greed is to otherwise maximise the profitability from the conspiracy. Why did they only confine themselves to just 25 people ?

SG submitted that total figure of candidates was 155

Bench: you have arrested this person?

SG: yes arrested, he took money (Centre Superintendent and City Coordinator)

NTA: along with a middle man who was the bridge between the the gang and the two. The conspiracy was hatched almost 2-3 months prior to the actual stealing because they had to also identify one weak centre who is ready accept the money and give access. 

NTA: On the packet the invigilator and centre superintendent has to sign that when we open there is no tampering. So though there was tampering and burnt from one side and again refixed, they have signed. Because the Centre Superintendent and City Coordinator were also involved in the conspiracy

NTA: These are 72 question papers, 4-5 packets kept in a trunk. This has got 3 packets of 24 papers each (within the big packet) 

NTA: after this solution, a digital image was taken and again was transmitted to Patna Learn Boys High School where the other gang members were present

CJI: and you recovered these burnt pieces from ..
