    The Supreme Court will hear today the petitions seeking to cancel the NEET UG 24 exam for paper leak and other malpractices.

    A bench comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra will hear the matters at 10.30 AM.

    On the previous date (July 18), the Court directed the NTA to publish the centre-wise results, to ascertain if there is any abnormal spike in performance in centres, especially the centres where paper leak is suspected.

    The bench also indicated that it is likely to conclude the matter today

      SG : My learned friend is arguing that entire country's exam is vitiated. Giving some examples of some mistakes may not assist him.

      Hooda : I am saying there is a systemic failure.

      NTA counsel : In Hardayal school, grace marks were given.

      CJI : In Hardayal school, all students wrote Canara bank paper. Why were they given grace marks.

      CJI to NTA : Hardayal School students wrote only Canara Bank paper. Were they also given grace marks?

      SG : Wherever the wrong paper was initially given, taken back and new paper was given resulting in curtailing time, grace marks were given.

      CJI : Grace marks were given to those students who were given wrong booklet which was withdrawn midway.

      SG : Yes.

      Hooda : There is another blunder. In Hardayal school ,the students were given grace marks. 6 out of them got full marks. If Canara bank paper was attempted, where was the question of giving grace marks.

      SG : It was a mistake which was corrected later.

      NTA : He distributed Canara bank papers to three centres in Jhajjar. From two, it was withdrawn, when he realised the mistake and at the other centre it continued.

      Hooda : He collected from both banks.

      CJI : How did that happen? And he distributed in all centres the Can bank paper?
