Datar :   There’s complete lack of clarity. There’s a commission for backward classes. But there is no commission for economically weaker classes. On what basis this criteria has been made?.There’s no mention of 8 lakh in the counter. There’s complete absence of clarity

Datar :It is not clear what “annual income” means. My only prayer is, till that is clarified, at least in this year EWS should not be implemented. Other issues are before the larger bench.

Datar: Now we have a situation where there’s report by Sinho & the OA which lays down various criteria. My only prayer is to not allow the implementation of 10% from this year. In this only annual income limit is given. We don’t know on what basis this committee decided it.

Datar: The report of Maj Gen (Retd) SR Sinho is of 2010

Datar: There’s mention of annual income limit of 8 lakh. Even in counter, they haven’t filed the report & there’s no reason as to why 8 lakh was selected. There’s an office memorandum of Jan 17, 2019

Datar: In notification issued in March, AIQ wasn’t there. But due to brutal wave of CoVID exam couldn’t be scheduled. All doctors were sent for CoVID duties.  Now this 8 lakh limit has been introduced.

Datar: There’s judgement which says that if Centre has been impleaded, then non-joinder of another ministry will not be a ground.

Datar: Total No of seats in NEET PG are 9515 in 50% AIQ.  From these seats the 27% 10% will be reserved. Please go to the impugned notice dated July 29 which has been issued by the DGHS, Ministry of Health. This  I'm pointing because ASG said we didn’t implead another ministry.

Datar :  I’ve circulated written submissions & go page 4 of it to give background. I’m representing 17 doctors from various states & all of them are appearing for the NEETOG Exam & they’re aggrieved with the 10% quota
