Hegde : My Late Senior who taught me advocacy used to say it is about how you look at things. Let us not go into the question of hijab or what is essential religious practice. Today it is only this- what is administrative power.

Hegde : Today what is absolutely important is that peace comes, constitutional fraternity returns to the college. No heavens will fall for two months if there is a via media and modus that state can file, which does not involve any concession or any rights.

Hegde : Is there a power to prescribe a uniform and has it been properly prescribed? If there is such a power to exercise here? I have a presentation ready.

Sanjay Hegde: I am most keen to try and sort out the problem as it arises from my hometown and my college.

AG: We are seeking an early disposal, whatever be the judgement as this has become larger issue.

AG: We are keen to have an adjudication at the earliest. There may be emotions outside the court but the question of law is to be decided by the court.

Advocate General : This issue has become a larger issue and everybody is looking upto the court for a decision. My submission is that my Ld friend has completed the arguments. Now, it is for state to argue and then it is for the court to adjudicate.
