Singh: That court should be the first court which should have rational reasons for grant or denial of bail. I am not arguing on bail because I'll rather await your lordships decision on whether arrest was legal or not.

Singh: It will be rational if bail is first argued before trial court. We have only 60 days to file a chargesheet. We'll file it much before that. My lady should have the reasons why bail should or should not be granted. May be they get a bail there. Usually it is alright but there are three four chargesheets before trial court.

Singh: Why it should not be done today, bail has an effect on this. For grant of bail your lordships will go on evidence and chargesheets. We are in final stages of preparing chargesheet against him and we have apprehension which I've shown. One is Punjab events and other is Goa events.

Singh: I've explained why he was arrested. What's also necessary is about the bail application. If I have convinced this court that arrest was not illegal, only then we can switch to bail application otherwise he can get bail right away.

Singh: It is not the law of the land that I've to show how he is influencing and not cooperating.

There are two things, one, it has been seen at no of stages, subjective satisfaction has been satisfied. Test for that is not at this stage.

Singh: I met that criteria. And then the remand order is there.

Matter was heard even before arrest was made.

Singh: What more reason can I give? These are specific reasons and the court was impressed with it and which is why I have passed the test.

Singh: Relevant questions for the purpose of investigation. If there is a note, how will I show it? He is not disclosing facts truthfully. What do I write (in the application)?
