Vacancy for Direct Recruitment to Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service

High Court of Judicature at Allahabad invites application for the post of Additional District Judge through direct recruitment in Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service.

Name of Post: Additional District Judge

No. of Posts: 82 (SC-17, ST-02, OBC-22 and Unreserved-41)

Age Limit: The applicant must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 45 years as on 01.01.2015. (Age limit shall be higher by 3 years in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates belonging to the State of U.P. only).

Eligibility: Advocates of not less than 7 years standing as on 01.01.2015 are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

Before applying online, candidates should:

Have a receipt/journal no. after depositing requisite fee (Rs.850/- for General/OBC category and Rs.600/- for SC/ST category) in the State Bank of India at any Branch in India on prescribed challan which may be downloaded from the website. (The candidate has to submit High Court's copy with the downloaded / printed system generated filled application form.)

In addition to submission of on-line application, the downloaded hard copy of the application form along with required documents as mentioned in the instructions are to be submitted as follows:

(i) The Advocates practicing within the State of U.P.:- before the District & Sessions Judge of the district or the Registrar General, High Court Allahabad, Senior Registrar, Lucknow Bench, Lucknow, respectively after obtaining requisite forwarding on or before 03rd July, 2014.

 (ii) The Advocates practicing outside the State of U.P.- The candidates shall obtain requisite forwarding by the District and Sessions Judge of the district/Registrar General/Registrar of the High Court/Secretary General of the Supreme Court respectively.

Duly filled up and forwarded application form to be sent directly by the candidate by Registered Post to the Registrar (Selection & Appointment) High Court of Judicature at Allahabad so as to reach on or before 03rd July, 2014

The application shall be filled online from 19th May, 2014 to 18th June, 2014 till 23:59 hours after which the link will be disabled. The hard copy of the On-line submitted application form may be downloaded/printed upto 23rd June, 2014 till 23:59 hours.

A Preliminary Examination (objective) will be held on 20th July, 2014 at Allahabad.
