Undertrial Shot Dead At Delhi's Rohini Court Complex

An undertrial was reportedly shot dead inside the Rohini Court complex in New Delhi on Monday.

According to Mr. Rishi Pal, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rohini, the victim, Vinod alias Balle, was produced by the staff of Third Battalion in Rohini Court. The incident happened near the canteen area while he was being escorted and the shooter, who was arrested at the spot, is suspected to have dressed as a litigant.

This is the second such incident, the first having occurred outside the Rohini Court premises in April this year. In that case, the victim, who was a member of the Neeraj Bawana gang, had passed away while being taken to the hospital.
