The Rajya Sabha will consider today the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Eight Amendment) Bill 2023, which seeks to provide 1/3rd reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and the State Legislative Assemblies. The Bill was passed by the Lok Sabha yesterday with the support of the 2/3rd majority of the members present and voting (454 members supported, two members opposed).Follow this page...
