UP Govt's Challenge Against Allahabad High Court Order Imposing Lockdown In 5 Cities: Live Updates From Supreme Court

State of UP’s challenge against the Allahabad HC order will be taken up at the end of the Board today. 

SG: Would I be able to circulate it today ? Five big cities like Prayagraj etc.

CJI: Okay, at the end of the Board. 

Solicitor-General Tushar Mehta mentioned the matter before regular Bench headed by CJI SA Bobde

SG: I wanted to make one request subject to your permission.

SG: Yesterday in an order passed by Allahabad HC in the evening, a virtual lockdown was declared in UP for a week. I am challenging that on behalf of UP. I am not going into the merits.
