A Supreme Court bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna, Sanjay Kumar and R. Mahadevan heard a petitioner-in-person who filed a petition pointing out several issues in the Engineering Colleges.

The petitioner who spoke in Hindi told the court that he has been running from pillar to post to seek remedy before the Supreme Court and other forums and has wasted several years in that. The petitioner had added several judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts, the Prime Minister and the Secretary of the President of India as respondents in the petition.

Justice Khanna, while speaking to him in Hindi, said: "Aapne jis tareeke se draft kia hai, koi remedy nahi nikal paegi kis judge ke samne (The way the petition has been drafted, you will not get any remedy before any judge)."

However, the petitioner threatened the court that he would kill himself. He said: "Main suicide karlunga (I will commit suicide)".

Justice Khanna told him to not speak like that. He said: "Aap itne kamzor nahi hai (You are not that weak)..."

Justice Khanna then dictated the order disposing of the petition stating that the petitioner was unable to explain but the petitioner threatened the court again which displeased the judge.

Justice khanna said: "Aap apni limit se nikal rahe hai. Please...chup kar jaiye. Agar aap apne aap ko itna weak samjhtein hai...aise aap hume kehengey toh virtually aap hume threat de rhe hai (You should learn to be in your limit. Please stop talking. If you think you are this weak and you are telling us this then you are virtually threatening the court)."

J Sanjiv Khanna: "Ismein maine aap ko samjaya hai, aap ko kuch dikat hai toh legal aid mein jaiye vo smjha dengey. Aapko thoda councelling ki jarurat hai (I have tried to understand your matter...If you have issues, please reach out to the legal aid of the Supreme Court. You need some counselling in this case..."
