Bench: Accordingly the petition’s disposed of. Since respective States have decided to cancel examination we don’t wish to examine any other issue in this writ petition or connected intervention application

Bench: We reiterate the directions given on earlier occasion to all state boards that internal assessment results are declared on or before july 31st as directed in CBSE and ICSE

Bench: Mr Dave for Andhra Pradesh has submitted that after reexamining situation, the State govt has been well advised to cancel 12th State Board Exam. We place that Statement on record. We are informed that notification has been issued

Bench: We appreciate the stet, but I repeat what was required to be discussed yesterday could’ve been avoided.

Dave: Decision was taken immediately yesterday once we talked to the CM.

Dave: And no one has taken responsibility. Election rallies etc were conducted. Common men have suffered. I talked to the CM and he agreed readily.

Bench: We can close the proceeding then

Dave: Your Lordships were right If something unforeseen were to happen it would weigh on our hearts. Considering the current times .

Bench: Its unpredictable and harsh

Dave: I’ve made it clear to Hon’ble CM what Court has expressed.

Bench: We appreciate the pragmatic stand taken by State. We wish you’d appeared before.

Dave: looking to sentiments expressed i had a discussion with CM yesterday, I advised and they accepted we have decided to cancel the exam and we will follow the approach expressed by Court.
