It is submitted that Delhi High Court in its order dated 5/2/20, had permitted the convicts to avail their legal remedies within one week from the date of the order, failing which, the law was required to take the future course of action against the convicts. It is submitted that the condemned convicts, except Vinay Sharma, have opted to not to avail any legal remedies, and thus, court should fix a fresh date of execution.

Court has appointed Ravi Qazi, who's already representing Pawan, as Mukesh's legal aid counsel. In view of the said development, court has discharged Vrinda Grover from her duties as Mukesh's counsel.

At this juncture, Grover moved a separate application seeking discharge, as Mukesh intends to have a different counsel. She has also placed on record a written statement filed by Mukesh.
