    Lydia Suzanne Thomas, the reporter of LiveLaw covering the Kerala High Court, passed away today afternoon after prolonged illness.

    She completed her BA LLB course from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) Kochi in 2020.  Driven by her passion for legal journalism, she joined LiveLaw in February 2021. Before that, she had a brief stint at 'Bar & Bench'.

    Within a limited period itself, Lydia left her mark in the field of legal journalism with her quick grasp of complex issues and lucid reports which explained judgments in the simplest of terms. She was brilliant, passionate, sincere and humble. She has broken several crucial legal developments from the Kerala High Court. She thus became a known figure across the country in the field of legal media within a short span of time. Her reports can be read here.

    "I enjoy art, literature, and music, and play the violin. I have a blog where I post poetry and other compositions. I have recently taken up photography and photograph editing. I enjoy drawing and experimenting with colours of any kind", Lydia had said in her Resume.
