Jaising: Today you have an application before you asking for the trial to be transferred from Allahabad to Delhi.

#CJI : But where is the application for transfer before us?

Jaising says that Kushwaha has filed that already.

SG says that strangers to the investigation do not have any locus.

Senior Advocate Sidharth Luthra seeks to make submissions.

Senior Advocate Indira Jaising says that Luthra should not be allowed to be heard as he is for the accused. "This is between us and the court, how can the accused be heard during pendency of investigation?"

SG tells the Court says that there is a statutory provision under the CRPC which prohibits the publication of the name of the victim. 

SG: The CBI took over the investigation on October 10 and that is going on. The victims' family want your lordships to supervise, we are not adversarial to this.

#CJI says that the HC can do so and that they are here if there is any problem.

Kushwaha tells the Court that Compliance affidavit for witness protection has been filed by the State Govt.

Adv Kushwaha appears before the Court and she prays that the trial be held in Delhi after investigation is complete.

SG says that the victims family had informed the Police that Adv Seema Kushwaha has been engaged by them and that they would also like a lawyer from the Government.

SG says that there are CCTV cameras deployed outside the home of the Victim.
