AG: Today, they are unequals. Maybe 10-20 years later they won't be but today they are unequals. It is a well settled principle that unequals can't be treated as equals. Treating of unequals as equals will offend doctrine of equality.

AG: Can unequals claim that they should be given the same benefits as a given group whose benefits are being looked into?

AG: So far as this is concerned, these beneficial provisions, in due course could be available to the EWS, in non reserved category. But as and when they get it, it'll be proportionate to their advancement.

AG: Under Art 340, a commission is made to investigate the conditions of backward classes.

AG: There is continuing monitoring to ensure that so far as they're concerned, they're not subjected to any deprivation of their rights.

AG: So far as OBCs are concerned, please see Article 338B- National Commission for Backward Classes.

AG: The SC and ST, in regards to object to be achieved, affirmative actions were taken. This stands on same footing as Economically weaker sections.

AG: Therefore, according to me, they've been given so many benefits which they are entitled to. 

AG: Then you may be pleased to see Art 332, which is benefits with regards to legislative assembly. Then, Article 243d, seats in panchayat are reserved, in municipalities too.
