The ED's letter refers to Swapna Suresh's allegation that local police officers had taken her audio recording, and the ED director had urged the Director General of Prisons to register FIR against police officers for the said act.

SG : Oh yesterday night it was not on record. Both of us are right.

Justice Arun : Anyway it is on record.

SG : We'll leave it at that.

Justice Arun : Perhaps that may not have reached the SG.

Solicitor General : That's okay Mr Raval. I withdraw the statement. The letter is important.

Raval : It is the letter addressed to the Director General of Prisons, not Director General of Police.

Senior Advocate Harin Ravil (for Kerala) : It is not fair on the part of the SG to say that we have not produced the letter. The letter is annexed.

Solicitor General : Before I read the impugned FIR, I want to show to the Court a document, which the respondents had a duty to disclose to this Court.

Solicitor General : Abuse of process of law is so flagrant and so manifest that your lordship's power under Article 226 read with Section 482 CrPC has to be invoked.

Solicitor General : This is the absurdity of the situation which is not contemplated by law.

Solicitor General : What I would suggest is that register an FIR against Kerala Police for fabricating evidence. If their FIR is correct, my FIR will also be correct.
