Justice Chandrachud: We would like you tell us about the audit committee. Give us a small number of people so that we can form it.

SG: Delhi has done one thing. They have requested private doctors to render their services. Even if 20% do that, that will be of great help.

Justice Shah: These are all your employees. Assistant Professors in medical colleges.

SG: I will take instructions on this.

SG: If I have to give 700, I have to take it from some other State. We will deal with the emergent situation in Delhi as and when it arises. I can’t give it from somebody else.

Justice Chandrachud: We get your point.

Justice Chandrachud: We understand that people die despite the best reports of doctors and we also understand there are deaths unrelated to oxygen. We give you that. But, equally oxygen today is a critical component. You cannot deny that.

SG: You can see over the last 2-3 days, even when supply was less than 500, no major incident took place.

Justice Shah: You say nothing has been reported.

    • 6 May 2021 6:44 AM GMT

Justice Chandrachud: Right now we are all in the dark, and all we hear is whatever is happening on the ground. You have to respond to us like you did last evening. You have to continue with 700 till Monday.

Justice Chandrachud: What will happen between today and Monday ? We want you to augment supplies. Have a holding operation, but it can’t be that it reduces the amount to less than 700. 700 toh aapko dena hee padega.

SG: Something has happened on this line. I’ll check up with the Health Ministry.

Justice Chandrachud: Two things we want you to address. We will be listing this matter on Monday. We are not sitting tomorrow, but we are available for 24 hours. If anything happens.

Justice Chandrachud: What happens between today and Monday ? This is the question we have for you ?

SG: Tapping the available Human Resource of to-be doctors and nurses, I had a discussion on this.
