    A 5-judge bench of the Calcutta High Court is hearing a PIL seeking investigation into the post-poll violence which took place in West Bengal after assembly results.

    Considering that the matter related to protection of life and liberty of people of West Bengal, a division bench led by Acting Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal had referred the matter to a 5-judge bench.

      Advocate General says most of the complaints are false and wrong, and the same has been stated in the state's affidavit.
