Judge Lau says it is the right of citizen of protest.

Prosecutor replies that permission needs to be taken.

Judge Lau- You are behaving as if Jama Masjid is Pakistan. Even if it was pakistan, you can go there and protest. Pakistan was a part of undivided India.

Judge refers to the posts of Azad and says "none of these are unconstitutional".

"Where is the violence? What is wrong with any of these posts? Who says you cannot protest..have you read the constitution?"Judge Kamini Lau asks the Public Prosecutor.

Adv Mahmood Pracha appearing for Azad, who has been under custody since Dec 21 over alleged violence during CAA protests in Daryaganj.

Pracha points out that FIR mentions about charges against Azad in UP. Judge asks Prosecutor about those charges.

PP pleads ignorance and tells that he will find out. Judge expresses surprise at the fact that PP was not aware.
