Singh: This case separates in one way. There are four chargesheets only filed in this case. Court is apprised with other material. It was not a regular court. Today regular court is already apprised. For proprietary sake, no by law. Otherwise this will become a norm.
Court issues notice on Kejriwal's bail plea. CBI to file response. Matter will be heard on 17th along with Kejriwal's plea challenging his arrest by CBI.

Singhvi refers to a SC judgment on the issue of directly approaching the High Court.
Singhvi: This is a very short point. It's a non special provision. Your lordships can take it up tomorrow, day after tomorrow or next week. It can even be heard today.
Senior Advocate N Hariharan also appears for Kejriwal and refers to another judgment.
Court: In how many matters the SC or HC said that please go back, on proprietary. On law there is no quarrel. I am not on law. But they are saying don't clog superior courts when alternative remedy is available. There should be a reason why this is better.

Court: You have the benefit of sessions judge, first hearing. May be you succeed there.
Singhvi: This is an avoidance technique. I am asking for a short date.
Senior Advocate Vikram Chaudhari: our principle argument is that section 41 was violated and there was no necessity to arrest.
While remanding, the court said that arrest is legal. When that argument is addressed, there is no point of sending it back. It will be a futile exercise.

Singhvi: Arrested after two years. 2022 the things start. I get bail and they arrest me now. I am pressing for some interim relief. He is not a proclaimed offender or a terrorist.

Singh: Their writ is coming on 17th. Grounds are identical. They could have filed in a court which is the first court.
Court: There is no bail application filed before trial court?
Singh: No.
