    The Delhi High Court will hear today Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's plea challenging his arrest by the ED in the alleged liquor policy scam case.

    The matter will be heard by Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma.

    Kejriwal is currently in judicial custody. He was arrested on the night of March 21. On March 22, the trial court remanded him to six days of ED custody, which was extended by further four days. On April 01, he was remanded to judicial custody till April 15.

    Earlier, Justice Sharma had denied interim relief to Kejriwal and only issued notice on his plea challenging the arrest, as well as his interim application seeking immediate release.

      Raju: There is some property which is already provisionally attached. Proceedings are going on, RS. 126 crores. We are wanting to attach properties of AAP. If we attach, allegations will be made that allegations ke time aise Kiya. Fortunately for us, we are at the stage of investigation. Investigation is not over.

      Raju: Most of the arguments have been made as if chargesheets have been filed.

      Raju: Today, as far as petitioner is concerned, investigation is not over. He has come at the beginning of investigation when he has just been arrested. Investigation is at a nascent stage.

      Raju: There cannot be two lawyers arguing. No Aam Aadmi is entitled to more than one lawyer. Why this? More than one lawyer can't address. You may be rich, you may claim to be aam aadmi but you can't have two lawyers.

      Singhvi: There has to be specific role of the petitioner, even for the company, which I'm denying....This is complete vicarious liability. I've ended, it's frequent that these matters are treated by ED as normal. I'm opposing the slightest delay.

      Singhvi: There is clear vicarious liability, please dont allow it to happen. Section 70 cannot arise at all. It is specifically for companies. When AAP is registered under RoPA, then different statute can't be subsumed in the heading of company under PMLA.
