Arvind Kejriwal's Bail : Live Updates From Supreme Court

Singhvi: 1st July onwards, I am in High Court. There were two writ petitions. One against arrest, another for bail. On 17th July, judgment is reserved on arrest. But bail is re-notified later.

Singhvi: On 26th June, he is produced before vacation judge. CBI without complying with 41A, etc. moved application seeking custody...only ground in arrest memo is Kejriwal is non-cooperative and evasive in replies

Singhvi: There is no new evidence. Only statement by Magunta in January

J Kant: Probably if you're in custody...you can't arrest, permission is required

Singhvi: Let's leave that, point is they did not arrest for nearly 2 years

Singhvi: CBI moved an application before Spl Court seeking to examine and interrogate me. It was allowed. Allegedly showed to court some new statement. Statement happened in January. He is interrogated in Tihar. CBI moves application for arrest.

Singhvi: I lose in the HC, come to the SC. Only case where you have got bail in the more difficult Act...but denied bail in predicate offense with normal triple conditions

Singhvi: In between, regular bail granted by ED court, stayed by HC. While this is there, there is no CBI arrest from August'2022 for just under 2 years. While I have got 3 release orders. An insurance arrest made on 26th June

Singhvi: The order granted me interim bail and referred some issues to larger bench.

J Kant: Why two bail orders by this court?

Singhvi: First was for Lok Sabha elections. For 21 days.
