    The Supreme Court will hear today Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's bail plea in the CBI case related to the liquor policy case.

    A bench comprising Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan will hear the matter

    Kejriwal was earlier granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in the case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in relation to the liquor policy. However, his incarceration continued since he was under custody in the case under the Prevention of Corruption Act registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

      Singhvi: 1st July onwards, I am in High Court. There were two writ petitions. One against arrest, another for bail. On 17th July, judgment is reserved on arrest. But bail is re-notified later.

      Singhvi: CBI moved an application before Spl Court seeking to examine and interrogate me. It was allowed. Allegedly showed to court some new statement. Statement happened in January. He is interrogated in Tihar. CBI moves application for arrest.

      Singhvi: I lose in the HC, come to the SC. Only case where you have got bail in the more difficult Act...but denied bail in predicate offense with normal triple conditions
