    The Consortium of National Law Universities invites applications for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. This esteemed exam is the gateway to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs offered by 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating institutes across India. Registration opened on July 15, 2024, and closes on October 15, 2024. The exam will be held on December 1, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

    About CLAT Exam:

    CLAT 2025 is a 2-hour test for undergraduate candidates, consisting of 120 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark. Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for incorrect answers. The exam assesses proficiency in English language, current affairs, general knowledge, logical reasoning, legal reasoning, and quantitative techniques. Postgraduate candidates will face a comprehensive paper covering constitutional law, jurisprudence, family law, criminal law, property law, administrative law, law of contract, torts, company law, public international law, tax law, environmental law, and labour and industrial law.

    About Participating Universities: The participating NLUs for CLAT 2025 include two premier institutes situated in Madhya Pradesh i.e., NLIU Bhopal and DNLU Jabalpur. Both the institutes offer reservation to the students with Madhya Pradesh domicile and state scholarship benefits to the students. Other esteemed institutions like NLSIU Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad, WBNUJS Kolkata, NLU Jodhpur, GNLU Gandhinagar, GNLU, Silvassa Campus, RMLNLU Lucknow, CNLU Patna, NUSRL Ranchi, HNLU Raipur, RGNUL Punjab, DBRANLU Haryana, NUALS Kochi, NLUO Odisha, NLUJA Assam, DSNLU Visakhapatanam, TNNLU Tiruchirappalli, MNLU Mumbai, MNLU Nagpur, MNLU Aurangabad, HPNLU Shimla, and NLUT Agartala, etc also participate in CLAT 2025.
