A Round Table on “Evolving Jurisprudence on Patent Remedies (PatRem)”
MHRD Chair on Intellectual Property Rights, Centre for Intellectual Property Rights and Advocacy (CIPRA) and National Law School of India University, Bangalore presents A Round Table on “Evolving Jurisprudence on Patent Remedies (PatRem)”.

This roundtable has an objective of assessing/reviewing emerging jurisprudence, practices, and changing landscape while shaping patent remedies in India. Patent remedies will have a major impact on Innovation and IP protection as we are move up the innovation value chain while embarking on a “Digital India”, “Make in India”, “Design-in-India”, “Start-up India”, journey. This roundtable is intended to bring together honourable members of the judiciary, enforcement agencies such as Competition Commission of India (CCI) and members of appellate boards such as IPAB to review this subject.
Registration Details:
This Roundtable is open for In-House Councils, Judiciary, Advocates, Law Faculties, Legal Fraternity, Research Scholars, Students and public in General from the area of Law and technology. Prior registration for Conference is compulsory. There is no Registration Fees. Duly filled in registration form for the participants and delegates should be sent to cipra@nls.ac.in on or before 12th March 2017.

Call for Papers:
- Researched papers on the topic (not limited to) mentioned are called for paper presentation in the technical sessions of the conference.
- An Abstract of the research paper, not exceeding 250 words, accompanied with a Covering letter must be submitted as attachment via email to cipra@nls.ac.in.
- Length of the paper should be between 3000- 5000 words.
- The last date for submission of abstract is 18th February, 2017.
- Notification of the accepted abstracts will be intimated on 21th February, 2017.
- Selected final paper must be sent on or before 12th March, 2017 5.30 pm. IST.
