Professional Development Workshop On “New Ways Of Teaching And Research For Better Delivery Of Legal Services”

Bar Council of Kerala, MK Nambyar Academy for Continuing Legal Education, Kochi in Association with Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida is organizing a Professional Development Workshop on “New Ways of Teaching and Research for Better Delivery of Legal Services”.
Dates: 7th – 10th September, 2017
Venue: Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida
Aim and scope:
The 4 Days Workshop aims to re-structure legal education in such a way that graduates are made practice ready as much as possible within the duration of the law course. The emphasis is therefore on Skills Training and professionalism rather than on theoretical issues. However, special focus is given to the research and teaching in Constitutional Law, Human Rights, International Law and Environmental Law to demonstrate balancing theory with practice in curriculum development, study materials preparation and choices in pedagogy.
Who should attend?
Faculty members are invited from all institutions/departments/ College of Law to participate in this workshop.
Number of participants: The workshop is limited to 40 participants.
Accommodation: The organizers will provide accommodation for four days, food and study materials to all registered participants.
Award function:
Participants are invited to a special Law Teachers' Day Awards Function and Law Symposium at New Delhi on 9th September organized by the Society of Indian Law Firms, New Delhi and Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training, Trivandrum.
