Pravin Gandhi College Of Law’s Nyayavalokan'18 Begins

Nyayavalokan'18 marked its beginning with the inaugural ceremony being held on Thursday. It is the 9th annual edition of the National Trial Advocacy and Judgment Writing Competition being organised by SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law in Mumbai. The competition will conclude on Sunday (October 14).
It was presided over by Justice Anand Potdar (retired), senior advocate Kamal Bulchandani, advocate Yasmin Katpitia and the principal incharge of Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Dr. Nutan Madiwal.
Twenty esteemed law schools from over the country are participating in the competition this year.
Justice Potdar spoke about criminal trials and the art of advocacy.
Senior Advocate Kamal Bulchandani enlightened the participants with his personal experiences and judicial etiquettes. He remarked, "I could see the enthusiasm in the participants and committee members, it makes me feel hopeful about the future of our country."
Advocate Yasmin threw light on the working of criminal moot trials.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by draw of lots wherein the teams were assigned their slots for the preliminary rounds.
