NUJS SACJ Essay Competition, 2017

The Society for Advancement of Criminal Justice at National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata is organizing its annual essay competition with the objective of fostering academic discourse on contemporary and emerging issues in the field of criminal law. The Competition is fully sponsored by VAS Global Ltd.
Theme: Curbing Consumption of Harmful Substances through Legal Mechanisms
The participants can choose to write in any one of the following sub-themes:

Submission:
Soft copy of the essay should be mailed to sacj@nujs.edu with the subject "Submission for NUJS-SACJ Essay Competition 2017". The last date for submission is February 26, 2017 (11.59 am).
Prizes
Winners shall be awarded the following prize money:
Top twenty submissions shall be awarded the merit certificates. Further, a few entries may also be published in the SACJ Criminal Law Review.
Certificates of participation shall be issued to all recognized entries.

- Liability of Family Members in Enforcement of The Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016- legally justified?
- Aspects of Sale of Tobacco to Minors under Section 77 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
