Nine Judges For Calcutta HC, Four Additional Judges For Madhya Pradesh HC [Read Notification]

President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday approved the appointment of nine Additional Judges as Judges of Calcutta High Court. The Judges appointed are Ashis Kumar Chakraborty, Malay Marut Banerjee, Md. Mumtaz Khan, Sankar Acharyya, Mir Dara Sheko, Debi Prosad Dey, Miss Asha Arora, Siddhartha Chattopadhyay, and Shivakant Prasad.

Further, Mr. Amitabha Chatterjee has been appointed as the Additional Judge of the High Court for a period of two years.

Another notification confirmed appointment of four Judges as Additional Judges of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh. The Additional Judges appointed are Mr. Rajeev Kumar Dubey, Ms. Anjuli Palo, Mr. Virender Singh and Mr. Sunil Kumar Awasthi.
