Supreme Court Collegium Reiterates Names Of 2 Judicial Officers As Judges Of Calcutta High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on February 1, 2022 has recommended the elevation of 2 Judicial Officers as Judges of the Calcutta High Court. They are: 

1. Shampa Dutt (Paul) 

2. Siddhartha Roy Chowdhury

The Supreme Court Collegium has reiterated the aforementioned recommendations. The Collegium vide its meeting held last year on September 1, 2021 had also proposed the names of the aforementioned judicial officers as judges of the Calcutta High Court.
