Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Permanente Judges For Bombay & Chhattisgarh High Courts

The Supreme Court Collegium on Monday approved the proposals for appointment of 10 Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court as permanent. The Supreme Court Collegium on Monday approved the proposals for appointment of 10 Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court as permanent.
They are:
- Justice Avinash Gunwant Gharote
- Justice Nitin Bhagawantrao Suryawanshi
- Justice Anil Satyavijay Kilor
- Justice Milind Narendra Jadhav
- Justice MG Sewlikar
- Justice VG Bisht
- Justice Debadwar Bhalchandra Ugrasen
- Justice MS Jawalkar
- Justice SP Tavade
- Justice NR Borkar
Justices Gharote, Suryawanshi, Kilor and Jadhav were appointed as Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court on August 23, 2019.
The remaining Additional Judges were appointed on December 5, 2019.
Recommendation for Chhattisgarh High Court
The Collegium has also recommended to appoint Justice Vimla Singh Kapoor, Additional Judge of Chhattisgarh High Court as Permanent Judge of that High Court.
She was elevated as Additional Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court on 18th June, 2018.
