AIBE is an open book exam which a lawyer needs to pass within two years of his enrollment into the rolls of the Bar Council. The stated objective of the examination is to examine an advocate's capability to practice the profession of law in India. After passing the examination, the candidate will be awarded "Certificate of Practice" by the Bar Council of India.
