A Rajasthan based judge has been booked by the State Police on the charges of repeatedly sodomizing, sexually assaulting a minor boy and also threatening his family members of implicating them in false cases.

The Judge, named Jitendra Singh, is presently posted as Special Judge, Special Court, Prevention of  Corruption Act, Bharatpur. However, the Rajasthan High Court yesterday suspended him with immediate effect pending preliminary enquiry and contemplated departmental enquiry.

An order to this effect was issued by the High Court's Registrar General yesterday, under the direction of the Chief Justice of the High Court.

Significantly, the Bharatpur Police has lodged an FIR in this matter on the insistence of the mother of the 14-year-old boy/victim, who alleged that the special judge and two of his assistants had sodomized her minor son.

She has also alleged that the Judge had been molesting the child for the past one and a half months by intimidating him and when this whole matter came to light two days ago, she decided to go to the police to lodge an FIR in this case.

As per the report of Dainik Bhaskar, the mother has also claimed that the Judge met her son at a tennis court and after befriending him, he lured him to his house, mixed intoxicants in his cold drink and when the child fainted, he sodomised him.

Further, the Judge allegedly made an obscene video with the child and when the child regained consciousness, he threatened to defame him by showing his obscene video to his friends.

Pursuant to this, an FIR has been registered against the judge booked him under section 377 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
