President Appoints Justice Ranjit Vasantrao More As Chairman Of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT)

The President today appointed Justice Ranjit Vasantrao More (former Chief Justice, Meghalaya High Court), to the post of Chairman, Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).

A notification issued in this regard states thus:

"The President is pleased to appoint Justice Ranjit Vasantrao More, Retd. Chief Justice, Meghalaya High Court, to the post of Chairman, Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) in the pay scale of Rs. 2,50,000/- (fixed) for a period of 04 years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or till attaining the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.. 2. The conditions of service of Justice Ranjit Vasantrao More as Chairman, CAT shall be governed by the provisions of the Tribunals Reforms Act, 2021 and Rules framed thereunder. 3. This order issues in compliance with the order of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet vide Communication No.6/17/2022-EO(SM.II) dated 28.07.2022."
