New Judges Take Oath In Gauhati High Court

In the august presence of the Hon'ble Judges of the Gauhati High Court, distinguished guests and media persons on 13th October, 2021, two Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court i.e. Mr. Justice Soumitra Saikia and Mr. Justice Parthivjyoti Saikia were sworn in as permanent Judges of the Gauhati High Court and two advocates i.e. Sri Kakheto Sema and Sri Devashis Baruah and two other judicial officers i.e. Malashri Nandi and Marli Vankung were sworn in as Additional Judges of the Gauhati Court in the Swearing-in-Ceremony held in Court No. 1 of the Gauhati High Court (New Block). The oaths were administered by Mr. Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia, Chief Justice, Gauhati High Court, Guwahati.

This is worthwhile mentioning that after the elevation of Malashri Nandi and Marli Vankung to Judgeship, now Guahati High Court has three serving female Judges.
