Madras High Court Makes E-Filing Mandatory For Anticipatory Bail Pleas, Launches Online Portal For Certified Copies

The Madras High Court has made e-filing mandatory in both the Principal bench in Madras and the Madurai bench. The Madras High Court has made e-filing mandatory in both the Principal bench in Madras and the Madurai bench. This facility is initially compulsory for Anticipatory bail applications only.
The Advocates or Party-in-Person are to first create a user account on the e-filing portal. The detailed guidelines and tutorial video prepared by the High Court for the e-filing process and the User Manual can be accessed through the official website of the Madras High Court.
The Advocates or Party-in-Person can also use the helpline number 14627 on all working days between 10:30 am and 3:00 pm or can approach the Help Desk Counter at the principal seat.
Online Certified Copy Application Portal
The Madras High Court has also introduced an online certified copy application portal for issuing certified copies of judgments/orders/documents. The facility can be availed through https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/eservices/copyapp
