Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan Appointed Chief Justice Of Telengana High Court [Read Notification]

The Centre has notified the appointment of Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan as the Chief Justice of Telengana High Court.

The appointment is to the vacancy which arose due to the transfer of former CJ Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan to Calcutta High Court.

Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan, the senior most judge of the Telengana High Court, has been functioning as the Acting Chief Justice since March 28.  

Justice Chauhan, who was a practicing Advocate in Rajasthan High Court, was elevated as Permanent Judge on 13th June 2005. He was transferred to Karnataka High Court on 10th March 2015. He took oath as Judge of High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on 23.11.2018 and later became a Judge of Telangana High Court.
