Patna District Legal Services Authority Organises Legal Services Camp; Provides Essential Services To Hundreds In Patna

The District Legal Services Authority, Patna, successfully organised a legal services camp on 04.11.2023 at Bankipur Girls High School, Patna, where a total of 700 people gathered to avail various essential services. The camp, inaugurated by Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh, Justice Patna High Court cum Executive Chairman State Legal Services Authority, witnessed the active participation of esteemed legal dignitaries and enthusiastic students from different law colleges in Patna.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to apply for important documents such as Aadhar Card, Labor Card, Ayushman Card, Ration Card, and Election Card. Specifically, 23 Aadhar Cards, 29 Labor Cards, and 29 Ayushman Cards were processed. Additionally, 250 Ration Card forms were collected for further processing, and one Election Card was issued. The camp aimed to provide these essential services to the community, ensuring accessibility to necessary documents.

Moreover, the legal services camp featured the distribution of e-cycles to disabled individuals, inaugurated by Honorable Justice Shri. The beneficiaries of the Inter-caste Marriage Scheme received checks during the event. Furthermore, Braille-related kits were distributed to visually impaired children, and hearing aids were provided to those in need. The program's success was attributed to the support received from the officials of the District Administration, Patna, and other relevant departments.

The event was graced by the presence of Patna Member Secretary State Legal Services Authority, District and Sessions Judge cum Chairman District Legal Services Authority Patna, District Magistrate cum Vice Chairman District Legal Services Authority Patna, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Patna, panel advocates, legal volunteers, and students from various law colleges in Patna. Their active participation contributed to the seamless execution of the legal services camp, benefitting hundreds of residents in Patna.
