    The Delhi High Court has restored the conventional method of physical delivery of notices, summons and daks, which were temporarily suspended in view of the second Covid wave, with effect from September 20.The circular issued by the Registrar of the High Court reads:"In continuation of this court's circular no 488/PSA/R&D/DHC dated 03.05.2021, whereby service of notices/ Summons/ Dak/...

    The Delhi High Court has restored the conventional method of physical delivery of notices, summons and daks, which were temporarily suspended in view of the second Covid wave, with effect from September 20.

    The circular issued by the Registrar of the High Court reads:

    "In continuation of this court's circular no 488/PSA/R&D/DHC dated 03.05.2021, whereby service of notices/ Summons/ Dak/ Orders was temporarily amended, it is informed to all concerned that the same is hereby withdrawn and conventional mode of physical delivery of Notices/ Summons/ Dak is restored w.e.f. 20-09-2021."

    The Court had temporarily amended physical mode of service of notice, summons and daks by permitting the same to be effected through email, fax or WhatsApp. 

    It was however mentioned that the conventional mode of physical delivery may be permitted to be restored once normalcy returns.
