Consortium Of NLUs Constitute Grievance Redressal Committee For CLAT 2021

The Consortium of National Law Universities has passed a resolution for the constitution of a Grievance Redressal Committee comprising of four members. It is headed by Justice Rajendra Babu, former Chief Justice of India. The other members of the Committee are: (a) Professor Shri Krishna Deva Rao, Vice-Chancellor of National Law University, Delhi; (b) Professor Balraj Chauhan, Former Vice-Chancellor RMLNLU, NLIU, and MPDNLU; (c) Prof. Ravi Kumar, Former Professor IIT Bombay; and (d) Prof. Faizan Mustafa, Vice-Chancellor NALSAR and President of the Consortium.

Earlier the Subjects Expert Committee and Oversight Committee, the Executive Council of the Consortium of NLUs, approved changes of answer-key of six questions in the CLAT 2021 paper.

The Consortium Of National Law Universities (CNLUs) on Tuesday notified a press release stipulating its decision on the various objections filed by students pursuant to the recommendations of the Subject Experts Committee and the Oversight Committee. Accordingly one question was deleted (Question Number 143) and the Answer key was changed for 2 questions (Question Numbers 61 and 98) for CLAT undergraduate exam (UG).

CLAT-2021 was conducted on July 23, 2021, at 147 centers in 82 cities across the country. Out of 70,277 candidates who registered, 66,887 downloaded their Admit Cards, and 62,106 appeared for the Test. 147 Centres were coordinated through 24 Regional Centres, supervised by 174 Centre Superintendents, 184 Centre Observers, and more than 3,500 Invigilators.
