SC Collegium Recommends Advocate Dinesh Pathak As Judge of Allahabad High Court [Read Resolution]

Supreme Court Collegium has recommended Advocate Dinesh Pathak of Allahabad High Court as judge in its resolution passed on 30th April.

His name as deferred by the collegium as per the report/comments from the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court on certain unconfirmed inputs. 

Resolution noted that " ......The fresh inputs received from the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court vide communication dated 18th February, 2019 have been placed before the Collegium. In order to ascertain suitability of Shri Dinesh Pathak for elevation to the High Court, we have consulted our colleagues conversant with the affairs of the Allahabad High Court.........."

" Having regard to all the relevant factors, and the material placed on record, the Collegium is of the considered view that Shri Dinesh Pathak is suitable for elevation to the High Court "
