    In a significant step towards realizing the concept of a Paperless Court, transparent and speedy justice in the State of Chhattisgarh, Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha inaugurated a Digitization Center in the High Court of Chhattisgarh on Saturday.

    In this center, the documents of pending cases will be digitized, allowing the HC to realize the concept of Paperless Courts.

    During the inauguration event, Chief Justice Sinha reiterated that digitizing documents is a crucial and sensitive task. He added that it is imperative to ensure that no document is overlooked during the digitisation process and that records from different cases are not mixed up, which could lead to serious consequences.

    CJ Sinha also stressed the importance of completing the digitization process efficiently and urged everyone to work diligently to meet the timelines.

    While acknowledging that technology has its advantages and challenges, the Chief Justice emphasized the need to leverage technology for the betterment of the Judiciary, enhancing transparency and the delivery of prompt justice.

    The inauguration program of the "Digitization Center" was held in the august presence of Justice Rajani Dubey, Justice Narendra Kumar Vyas, Justice Deepak Kumar Tiwari, Justice Sachin Singh Rajput, Justice Ravindra Agrawal, Justice Arvind Kumar Verma, Justice B.D. Guru and Justice A.K. Prasad.

    On this occasion, Registrar General Shri K. Vinod Kujur, Officers of the registry, Officers of the State Judicial Academy, and Employees of the High Court were also present.

    Off late, the Chief Justice has been virtually inaugurating the Judicial infrastructure projects, Court Buildings, and Residential Quarters of Officers and Employees.

    Due to his initiative and efforts, Chhattisgarh Judiciary is among the leading States in providing speedy, accessible, and affordable justice to the people using technical and digital resources.
