Centre Notifies Transfer Of Justice Manoj Bajaj From P&H HC To Allahabad High Court

The Central Government has notified the transfer of Justice Manoj Baja from the Punjab and Haryana High Court to the Allahabad High Court pursuant to a proposal made by the Supreme Court Collegium.

On July 12, the 5-member collegium led by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud had recommended his transfer rejecting his request to allow him to continue at the P&H High Court. The Collegium further said that Chief Justices of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana and High Court of Judicature at Allahabad whose opinion was sought in terms of the Memorandum of Procedure have also conveyed their no objection to the proposed transfer of Justice Manoj Bajaj.
