The Centre has appointed former Madras High Court Justice Pushpa Sathyanarayana as Judicial Member of the National Green Tribunal. The appointment is for a period of four years.
After completing a stint of nine years as a judge in Madras High Court starting from 2013, Justice Sathyanarayana had retired from service last month.
The order was issued in this regard by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change today.
