Anup Kumar Rattan Appointed As Himachal Pradesh Advocate General

A notification dated 20.12.2022 was issued by the Department of Home, Government of Himachal Pradesh.

As per the notification, issued by the Chief Secretary to the Himachal Pradesh Government, Rattan has been appointed with immediate effect.

The notification of the Home Department, notifying the appointment said that:

"In exercise of the powers vested in him under Article 165(1) of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is pleased to appoint Shri Anup Kumar Rattan, Advocate, as Advocate General, Himachal Pradesh, with immediate effect. The terms and conditions of the post of Advocate General will be issued separately."

Rattan has replaced Ashok Sharma, who was appointed as the Advocate General of Himachal Pradesh on 30.12.2017.
