School of Law, NorthCap University, Gurugram is organizing its 1^st International Essay Writing Competition 2017.

 About School of Law, NorthCap University:

The NorthCap University was founded in 1996, to promote excellence in Technical and Management education by Educate India Society, registered under the Registration of Societies Act of 1860.

The School has continually strived to achieve excellence in legal education through interactive teaching-learning process, clinical opportunities, exposures to the legal profession through internships and externships, industry ready curricula and innumerable opportunities to interact with the stalwarts in the legal profession.

Eligibility: The Competition is open to the students who are pursuing their 5/ 3 Year LLB Course/ LL.M./ M.Phil./ Ph.D./ or any other Undergraduate or Master courses (other than Law) in any university across the world.

Guidelines:

• Registration form is to be sent along with Demand Draft and should be emailed to balwindersingh@ncuindia.edu


• Co-authorship to a maximum of two authors is permitted.


• Registration Fee - Rs. 1000


• An abstract should not be more than 200 words mentioning title and keywords must be attached.


• The essay should not be more than 3000 words (excluding footnotes).

Prizes:

• First Prize- Rs 10,000


• Second Prize-Rs 7,500


• Third Prize-5,000


• Certificate of merit will also be issued to the winners. Certificate of participation will be given to every participant of the Essay writing Competition.

Dates:

1. Payment of Registration fee - 20th October 2017


2. Submission of Essay - 25th October 2017


3. Declaration of Result - 2nd November 2017.
