National Seminar on Demonetization and Digital Economy: Insights to Law and Governance

The 8th November declaration is a generations’ memorable experience and is going to be one of the economic events of our time. The debate over the demonetization, following the Prime Ministerial declaration on 8th November 2016 has triggered new political, economic, social and legal discussions in the country. Thus The Kerala Law Academy Law College in association with Centre for Advanced Legal Studies and Research (CALSAR) is organizing a National Seminar on ‘Demonetization and Digital Economy: Insights to Law and Governance’ on 3rd February, 2017 at Kerala Law Academy Campus, Peroorkada, Trivandrum, Kerala.
Academicians, practitioners and activists from diverse fields of study such as law, economics, political science, public administration, finance, banking etc. are invited to present papers on the topic.
Submission details:
An abstract not exceeding 500 words shall be submitted for consideration. The abstract shall contain the Synopsis of the Paper, Subtitles, Reference materials and conclusion indicating author’s perspective. The abstract must be mailed to klaseminar17@gmail.com on or before 20th January, 2017. The full paper shall not exceed more than 2500 words including footnotes and shall be in Times New Roman, 12 font size in A4 format with single line spacing.
A Registration fee of Rs. 1000/- has to be paid by each participant on or before 3rd February 2017.
Delegates who wish to present paper in-absentia are also encouraged to send an abstract and full paper. Seminar kit will not be provided for the registration of in-absentia presenters. They will have to pay Rs 1500/- as registration fee. In-absentia participants are requested to send a DD in favor of “The Principal, Kerala Law Academy Law College”.
