One-Day National Workshop On Newly Enacted Three Criminal Legislations, (Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, And Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam [April 27]

The Judicial Training and Coaching Centre (JTCC) is a premier institution dedicated to providing training and coaching at the School of Law, GD Goenka University. Its mission is to groom law students to become judicial aspirants and proficient legal professionals. The Legal Aid Committee of the School of Law, G.D Goenka University is a student-run initiative that aims to provide legal awareness and assistance to the underprivileged sections of the society.

The JTCC and the Legal Aid Committee of the School of Law, G.D Goenka University are organizing a one-day national workshop on three recently enacted legislations: the Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023; the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023; and the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. These legislations are scheduled to be enforced w.e.f July 01, 2024 and have significant implications for the legal landscape of the country. The workshop aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of these laws and their practical application. The workshop will also feature eminent legal experts who will share their insights and perspectives on these laws and engage in meaningful discussions with the participants.

Who is it for: The workshop is open to all members of the legal fraternity, including students, academicians, practitioners, researchers, and enthusiasts.
