Symbiosis Law School, Noida Wins 3rd Surana & Surana And RGNUL International Law Moot Court Competition 2019

The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, in collaboration with Surana &Surana International Attorneys, Chennai organised the 3rd International Law Moot Court Competition 2019 at its campus from 15th to 17th November 2019.
The moot proposition of the competition was based on International Humanitarian Law and cyber-attacks.
A total of 16 teams from all over India participated in the event. Symbiosis Law School, Noida, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Army Institute of Law, Mohali and National Law University, Odisha qualified for the Semi-Finals. Symbiosis Law School, Noida and Panjab University, Chandigarh vied for the winning trophy.
The final rounds were adjudged by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajive Bhalla, Former Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, Professor & Officiating Dean, UPES, Dehradun and Prof. (Dr.) V.K. Ahuja, Professor of Law, Delhi University. Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajive Bhalla was the Chief Guest for the valedictory session. Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh and Prof. (Dr.) V.K. Ahuja were the guests of honour on the occasion.
Symbiosis Law School, Noida bagged the winner trophy. Panjab University, Chandigarh won the runner-up trophy. The best memorial award went to Government Mohindra College, Patiala. The best advocate and the best speaker awards were bagged by Ritam Khanna of Symbiosis Law School, Noida. Spirit of Surana award was won by Ideal Institute of Management and Technology, Delhi.
